Privacy Policy

Digital Den ("we", "us") builds free web tools, Discord and Slack bots, and FiveM and RedM systems. Digital Den is operated by DGDEN LLC, which is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you use our contact form we collect the name, email address, topic, and message you enter, so we can reply. If you came from the business card page (/card), the message also notes that. Submissions arrive as email, and there is no public database of them.
- Free Google listing check. On the business card page (/card) you can check a business's Google listing. The name you type, and the town if you add one, go through our server to Google Maps Platform to find the business, and the report is built live from Google each time; we do not keep it. If you ask for the full report by email, we store your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your answer about managing the listing, and the listing's Google place ID. We email you the report through Resend and post a note to our own Discord server so we can follow up. We delete these stored details automatically 90 days after you send them.
- Spam protection. The contact form and the listing check use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell humans from bots, plus a hidden honeypot field. Turnstile processes a verification token on Cloudflare's systems.
- Server logs and abuse prevention. Like most sites, our host records standard request information such as your IP address, and we use the IP only to rate-limit the contact form, the listing check and the SteamID converter's profile lookup. Those limits keep a scrambled (hashed) form of it for a day at most, never the address itself. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them. Google Analytics does not load at all until you accept it in the cookie banner. Once accepted, it sets first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) and records pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived. Advertising features are switched off, and we keep this data for no more than 14 months.
- Cookies and local storage. We store your cookie choice in a first-party cookie and in your browser's local storage. Some tools also save your preferences locally, for example a chosen font style. These stay on your device.
Our tools stay in your browser
Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser: the text, IDs, colors, or code you paste are processed locally and never sent to us. A few tools reach an outside service by design, and only then. The SteamID converter's custom profile-URL lookup sends the vanity name to our server, which asks Steam to resolve it. The Discord and Slack webhook senders post your message straight to Discord or Slack, and the Discord vanity checker asks Discord's public invite API, from your browser, about the names you check. The image tools load pictures from Discord, YouTube, or Steam's own servers. None of these route your data through us beyond what is described here.
How we use information
- To reply to your messages and provide support.
- To operate, secure, and improve the site, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal or safety obligations where required.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Legal bases
If you are in the EU, the UK, or a country with similar rules, we rely on:
- Consent for Google Analytics cookies. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Your request when you contact us and we reply, or when you ask for a listing report and we send it and follow up.
- Legitimate interests for spam protection, rate limiting, security logs, and storing your cookie choice, which the site cannot work safely without.
Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the site, stores listing report requests, provides Turnstile spam protection, and counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not track you across sites.
- Google Analytics provides aggregate usage statistics, subject to your cookie choice.
- Google Maps Platform finds businesses and supplies the listing details for the listing check. What you send it is also covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Resend delivers the email generated by the contact form and the listing reports you ask for.
- Discord carries our private note about each listing report request.
- Steam (Valve) resolves custom profile URLs when you use that feature of the SteamID tool.
- Affiliate partners. If you click an affiliate link, that partner may set its own cookies and collect data under its own policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Each third party handles data under its own privacy policy.
DGDEN LLC and these providers are based in the United States, so data you send us is processed there. Where EU or UK law applies, transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK extension) or on Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your choices
- Accept or reject analytics cookies from the banner, and change your mind at any time from . Withdrawing consent deletes the analytics cookies.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser sends it, analytics stays off and the banner does not ask.
- Choose not to submit the contact form if you prefer not to share those details.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have the right to know, delete, and correct their data and to opt out of sale or sharing, which we do not do. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
To make a request, use our contact page and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EU or UK and are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Data retention
We keep contact emails and listing report requests only as long as needed to handle your request, follow up, and keep our records, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Rate-limit records are deleted within a day. Preferences stored on your device stay until you clear them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
