Website demos

Try your next website before you buy it

Every site here is a working demo for a fictional local business, built to beat the best real site in its industry. Open one on your phone, use it the way your customers would, then put your own name on it.

Small business website examples

Each demo has its own art direction, copy and signature feature for its trade. None of them share a template, and every business, name, number and review on them is a sample.

The standard

What every demo includes

The same bar on every site, whatever the trade.

  1. Fast on a phone

Pages are built ahead of time and served from Cloudflare's edge. Every demo loads its main content in under two seconds on a mid-range phone over 4G, measured with Lighthouse.

  2. One tap to act

A thumb-reach bar follows visitors down every page with the actions that matter for that trade: call, text, book, order, or get a quote.

  3. Built to rank locally

A page for each service, a service area page, clean headings, structured data, a sitemap, and a share image for every page, written in the words customers actually search.

  4. Your tools, in your style

Booking from Square, Booksy, Vagaro, Fresha, Acuity or Calendly, Google reviews, Instagram and Facebook posts, menus and event calendars, all drawn in the site's own design rather than a pasted-in widget.

  5. Prices people can see

Trades that quote by size or scope get an instant estimate. The owner sets the rules, and customers get a fair range before they ever pick up the phone.

  6. Leads straight to you

Quote and contact forms are spam-filtered and land in your inbox in seconds, with photos attached when the job needs them.

  7. Usable by everyone

Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard friendly, labeled for screen readers, readable contrast, and calm motion for people who ask for it.

  8. Yours to keep

Your site lives in its own code repository on your own domain. No page builder subscription, no template marketplace, no rented platform.

FAQ

Questions about the demos

Are these real businesses?+

No. Every business here is fictional, and every name, phone number, review and price is a sample. The websites themselves are real and fully working.

Can I try a demo like a customer would?+

Yes. Book a time, build an estimate, browse the gallery and send a form. Forms on a demo are caught before they send, so nothing reaches anyone.

Can I see a demo with my business name on it?+

Yes. Open any demo, tap Personalize in the black bar at the top, and type your business name. You can try your brand color too. It stays in your browser only.

How much does a site like this cost?+

Every site is quoted on its own after a short conversation about your business. You get a plan with the deliverables and the price before any work starts.

My industry is not listed. Can you still build my site?+

Yes. The demos show the standard, and Digital Den builds to the same standard for any local business.
